On the morning of January 29, 2024, the South West Retirement Workers Committee held its establishment meeting at the Roman Hall of Haquan Bay View Hotel in Zhuhai City. More than 20 representatives of retired workers from South West participated in the meeting. The president of South West Group, Wen Yonghong, the general manager of Shenzhen South West Company, Ke Kaizhao, the deputy general manager, Zheng Chunlei, the group's human resources director, Li Zhili, the general manager of Guangdong South West Company, Zhu Yunfeng, the executive vice president, Xiang Huaping, as well as relevant staff members attended the meeting. 

The meeting elected the list of the first Southwest West Retirees' Committee:

Director: Zhang Zhichao 

Deputy Director: Song Shuai Ai 

Members: Xiang Jing, Liu Xin, Tao Shengtian, Li Zhiang, Sun Pingxiu 

The committee is re-elected every three years. The purpose of its establishment is twofold: first, to strengthen the connection between the company and retired employees, allowing them to remain engaged after leaving their positions while maintaining a sense of belonging; second, to express gratitude for the contributions of retired employees and improve their benefits, making their lives more colorful. Therefore, the meeting also made preliminary plans for the future work of the Nanhuaxi Retired Employees Committee: 

Strengthen the holiday greetings for retired employees, such as during traditional festivals like the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Spring Festival. 

2. In addition to attending the annual Southwest Annual Summary Conference and the annual tour, a special tour for retired employees will be organized every year. 

3. The specific arrangements will be discussed and decided upon by the retirement committee, and will be incorporated into the company's regulations.
